What this site is, what it is not, and what you may do with it.

What this site is

This is the website of Laudenya, an animal-health company developing therapies for conditions in dairy cattle, horses, dogs and cats. It exists to describe that work. Nothing on it is sold, and there is nothing on it to buy.

Nothing here is veterinary advice

The site describes diseases, mechanisms and research programmes. It does not diagnose an animal, prescribe for one, or tell you what to do about one in front of you. An animal that is unwell needs a veterinarian, not a website. Never delay seeking veterinary care because of something you read here.

Nothing here is a product claim

Everything described on this site is in development. No Laudenya product is approved for sale in any market. No programme has reached efficacy and safety studies or registration.

Where the site describes what a programme is intended to do, that is a statement of intent, not of result. Where it gives a figure, it gives the source and the limits of that figure, and where no figure exists it says so rather than estimating. If a claim about Laudenya sounds stronger than what is on this site, it did not come from us.

Forward-looking statements

Descriptions of programmes, phases and intentions concern the future and are not promises about it. Development can stop, change direction, or fail, and nothing on this site should be read as a commitment that any programme will reach a market or a particular result.

Nothing here is an offer of securities

The Media & Investors page states that the company is not seeking equity at this time. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security, in any jurisdiction, and nothing on it is investment advice.

What you may do with it

Read it, quote it and link to it. The company boilerplate on the Media & Investors page is written to be reprinted verbatim, and journalists are welcome to do exactly that.

The text, images, films, the horse mark and the Laudenya name are the company's property or used under licence, and the typefaces are licensed from their foundries. Beyond quotation with attribution, please ask at [email protected] before reproducing material — the answer is usually yes.

Do not present the site or its material as your own, alter it in ways that change what it says, or use the Laudenya name or mark in a way that suggests a relationship that does not exist.

The Sources & Legal page links to published research so you can check our figures against the originals. Those sites are not ours and we are not responsible for them; we link to them precisely so you do not have to take our word for anything.

Availability, and being wrong

The site is offered as it is. We do not promise it will always be reachable, and we may change or remove any part of it. We take care to be accurate and we mark our uncertainty rather than hiding it, but we do not warrant that everything here is complete or current, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for loss arising from relying on it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and disputes fall to the courts of Salvador, Bahia. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove protections you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
